Sun Fire X4500 Data Server
The Sun Fire X4500 is a two way (four core) data server housed in a 4U high chassis. This server runs virtually any operating system including Solaris OS, Linux, and Windows - all supported by Sun. The X4500 supports up to 16GB of memory, and houses up to a staggering 48 hot-swappable internal SATA hard drives, producing a total internal capacity of 2.4TB when utilising 500GB drives.
