Sun Fire X4500 Data Server
The Sun Fire X4500 is a two way (four core) data server housed in a 4U high chassis. This server runs virtually any operating system including Solaris OS, Linux, and Windows - all supported by Sun. The X4500 supports up to 16GB of memory, and houses up to a staggering 48 hot-swappable internal SATA hard drives, producing a total internal capacity of 2.4TB when utilising 500GB drives.

- Four 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports, RJ-45 connector
- Six eight port SATA controllers, internal access only
- Four USB 2.0 ports (two at the front, two at the rear)
- Standard VGA port
- Two internal MD2 low-profile 64-bit PCI-X slots @ 133MHz
