Sun Blade 6000 Modular System
The revolutionary Sun Blade 6000 modular system is designed to support highly capable blades that deliver more compute, memory and I/O capacity than traditional blades and rackmount servers. This platform provides maximal performance with optimal cooling, space and power efficiency. In combination with the Sun Blade Virtualised NEM, it is ideal for consolidation and virtualising a wide variety applications from the web to the back office on blades based on UltraSPARC, AMD Opteron and Intel Xeon processors.

- Large I/O capacity: 2.7 Tb/s per Chassis
- Forty PCI Express interfaces per chassis
