Its Sun Blade Independent I/O provides the highest I/O throughput per chassis at 30.72Tbps and is the first blade based on an open PCI-E Industry standard I/O architecture. Support for PCIe 1.1 and 2.0 enables this chassis to support leading networking technologies such as Quad Data Rate (QDR) InfiniBand.
