SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 9 introduces new Linux features such as the 2.6 Kernel and provides attractive new pricing -- especially for High Performance Computing clusters. As one of the top two Linux distributions for servers, SUSE offers Sun customers that require Linux a compelling distribution for Sun's x64 product line based on AMD Opteron processors.

Each software license offering is subscription based and includes basic level support for SLES 9. This level of service provides access to SUSE's Linux Portal (web based self help), e-mail support, existing patches, and upgrades/updates. No technical phone support.

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 bundles the hardware right to use (RTU) with either a one-year or a three-year software Basic support entitlement for x86 and AMD64 for High Performance Computing. Supports English, German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. No media included.
