Mobile

Steelhead Mobile enterprises can give mobile workers LAN-like access to corporate files and applications no matter where they are in the world.
Steelhead Mobile works by interacting directly with any Steelhead appliance to optimize applications the same way that two Steelhead devices would work together. At least one Steelhead Mobile Controller (SMC) is required to manage Steelhead Mobile licensing, but no extra hardware is required at the “mobile” end.

Software is pushed out to end-user machines via MSI packages. Using the Steelhead Mobile Controller (SMC), IT administrators control the installation process as well as the configuration policies that determine what optimizations take place per user or groups of users. Specifications - Click Here

Small Office

With Riverbed's smaller models, you can now provide even your smallest remote offices with the application acceleration benefits.

These appliances are designed with a small, quiet form factor, so that they can run on a desk as opposed to a dedicated server room or data center and still support between 5-20 employees. They contain all the key optimization technologies within RiOS, thereby providing significant bandwidth reduction and application acceleration simultaneously. Specifications - Click Here

Mid-size Office

With a convenient 1U server format, these models can easily be rack-mounted or kept in a server closet. Optional multi-port Ethernet cards enable integration into multi-link or redundant WAN links.

Large Office/Data Center

For your largest offices, corporate headquarters, or your data centers, the Steelhead large office/datacenter models provide even greater capacity, plus the redundancy required in a mission-critical technology.
