HP StorageWorks SB920c Tape Blade

The HP StorageWorks SB920c Tape Blade is ideal for HP BladeSystem c-Class customers who need a data protection solution but are not connected into a Storage Area Network (SAN). This half-height tape blade provides direct attach data protection for the adjacent server and network backup protection for all data residing within the enclosure. The SB920c Tape Blade offers a complete data protection, disaster recovery and archiving solution for BladeSystem c-Class customers.

With third-generation LTO technology, the SB920c Tape Blade delivers a compressed storage capacity of 800GB on a single data cartridge and a compressed transfer rate of 432GB per hour. This tape blade solution ships standard with HP Data Protector Express Software Single Server Edition data protection software. In addition, the SB920c Tape Blade supports HP One-Button Disaster Recovery (OBDR), which allows quick recovery of the operating system, applications and data from the latest full backup set. HP StorageWorks tape blades are the industry's first tape blades and are developed exclusively for the BladeSystem c-Class enclosures.

• Versatile data protection solution providing direct backup and network backup capability: Provides direct attach data protection of adjacent server and network backup of all other data residing within the BladeSystem c-Class enclosure. Protects both half-height and full-height BladeSystem c-Class server blades.
