The HP ProLiant DL580 G5 is the best in class platform for virtualization, combining Intel’s newest Xeon® processor technology, maximum scalability and high availability features. This 4-socket server offers unsurpassed flexibility and serviceability in a versatile, 4U rack-optimized form factor. Based on the latest industry standard technologies, the DL580 G5 provides the highest levels of performance demanded by today's compute intensive applications.

Multiple high availability features promote maximum uptime. Remote management with Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO2) technology allows administration from a standard web browser without the need to visit the server. The highly expandable architecture provides maximum application deployment flexibility with the ability to add I/O, processing, memory or storage capability as needed.

  • The latest Quad- and 6-core Intel® Xeon® 7400 processors provide for maximum scalability as your needs grow; Customers looking for additional storage can fill up to 16 SFF SAS/SATA hot plug drives with up to 4TB of internal storage
  • Up to 32 memory modules, 2 media bays, 11 PCI slots, and 16 internal hard disk drives provide the flexibility required to deploy and re-deploy in a variety of application environments
  • Built-in Integrated Lights-Out 2 (iLO 2) Standard combines secure, basic management functions and diagnostics with essential virtual presence and control to manage ProLiant servers across the data center or across the world.
