The HP ProLiant BL680c G5 Server Blade, delivers no-compromise performance and expansion for a Dual-Core to 6-Core 4 processor BladeSystem Server. With two (2) or four (4) Intel® Xeon® 7200, 7300, or 7400 Series processors, 128GB of fully buffered memory, two (2) hot plug serial attached SCSI (SAS) or serial ATA (SATA) hard drives, four (4) embedded Gigabit Ethernet adapters and three (3) I/O expansion slots, the HP ProLiant BL680c G5 delivers the density you want with the performance you need to handle the most demanding enterprise class applications.

  • Two or four Intel Xeon 7300 or 7400 Series processors - delivering industry-leading performance-per-watt and price/performance-per-watt;
  • Up to 128GB fully buffered DDR2 Memory - large footprint for memory-intensive applications
  • 16 PC2-5300 DIMM slots are available for expansion;
  • High performance HP Smart Array P400i with 256MB cache for hardware RAID 0&1
  • Four integrated adapters- two are multifunction Gigabit Ethernet with TCP/IP offload engine (TOE) for Microsoft Windows 2003 and iSCSI boot for Linux, and two general Gigabit Ethernet;
  • Three mezzanine expansion slots support multifunction 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, standard Gigabit Ethernet, 4Gb Fibre Channel, and 4x DDR (20Gb) InfiniBand;
  • SAS or SATA-With up to two SAS or SATA drives and the Smart Array P400i RAID controller, you get quicker access to data and increase storage bandwidth for cutting edge storage performance.
