The HP ProLiant BL490c Virtualization Blade raises the bar for memory capacity and I/O bandwidth in a half-height blade. Coupling up to 2 Intel® Xeon® processors with 18 DIMM slots and support for up to 24 NICs, the BL490c gives enterprise data center managers the ideal server platform for hosting virtual machines.

  • Eliminate bottlenecks to maximize performance and support more virtual servers per blade.
  • The HP ProLiant BL490c G6 offers maximum processor performance with higher memory capacity and network throughput than any other half-height server blade, with: 18 DIMM slots, supporting up to 192GB of DDR3 memory;
  • Up to two (2) Intel® Xeon® 5500 Series processors featuring hardware-assisted Intel® Virtualization Technology (Intel® VT) with capabilities including Extended Page Tables;
  • Two (2) embedded 10 GbE ports for maximum network throughput
