HP offers powerful, reliable server blades with the same trusted features as award-winning HP rack and tower servers. With features equal to standard 1U rack mount servers, the two processor BL465c G6 combines energy efficient compute power and high density with expanded memory and I/O for maximum performance. A balanced architecture featuring Six-Core AMD Opteron™ processors with DDR2 memory, serial hard-drives, support for Multifunction Gigabit networking and multiple I/O cards provides a performance system ideal for a full range of applications. In this small form factor, the BL465c G6 includes features to ensure high availability such as hot plug hard drives, memory interleaving, embedded RAID capability, and enhanced remote Lights-Out management.

Concentrated compute power:

  • Six-Core AMD Opteron™ processors with DDR2 memory and serial I/O technologies deliver concentrated compute power and greater system scalability;
  • Up to two (2) Six-Core AMD Opteron™ 2400 series processors with AMD Virtualization™ to increase performance of existing x86/64 virtualization solutions;
  • Support for AMD Dual Dynamic Power Management™ technology for optimum performance and reduced power consumption;
  • Up to 64 GB of ECC Registered DDR2 memory to eliminate system bottlenecks;
  • HP Smart Array E200i storage controller for hardware RAID 0 and 1 (optional battery-backed write cache);
  • Two (2) embedded Multifunction Gigabit NICs with TOE and iSCSI support;
  • Choose between up to two (2) hot plug small form factor high performance serial attached SCSI (SAS) drives or lower cost serial ATA (SATA) drives;
  • Support a wide variety of I/O mezzanine cards simultaneously
